Hiking so far

Hi everyone!
So I replaced my old boots (only worn twice) with my new boots from Kamik. They feel great! Best of all, no more blisters (yet).

My newest expedition so far was in Altadena- Eaton Canyon. I've heard a few freinds refer to it as the "Haunted Forest". I asked them as to why and they said a family died up here although there is no way to confirm that so I regard as folk gossip at this point. This is how urban legend bullocks get started :/

So when we arrived, I took the longest to prepare (all of 10 min minutes) because I carried more than what I needed for just a day hike. The other guys whined like a bunch of puppies waiting for their walk. I explained that I was training myself to carry my load for back packing one day. Sometime in 2011, I'm going to hike off the main trail and camp out in the wild. This week the girls were out late night at the bar and were too hung over to join us.... Light weights!

I have also gone back to training consistently at my gym. I set up a few milstones for myself and so far I hit one of them :>) In order, they are:

1)Train 2-3days/ week in the gym

2)Spar at minimum once a week.

3) Train to do another kick boxing smoker match ;>)
Yes, that's right. I've been itching to fight again after I trained my boxer. Its been about 4 years since I've done one of these. Regardless, I remember the procedure: (1) Great condition and (2) Decent, if not good basic skills.. Having done martial arts for 11 years, I think I've got number two down :>)

As my training progresses, I will do my best to video and upload my sessions for those of you who wonder what its like to do one of these.
